Abstract
Description
After refusing a job with the House of Representatives so that he could remain available for a Nixon appointment, AF announces that he has accepted the position of Assistant Secretary of Labor, for $38,750 per year (neary four times Cherberg's paltry $10,000), and that he will start April 1. The post needs Senate confirmation. Evans is supportive and will replace AF on his own staff; additional losses to the feds, it is conjectured, may include Lud Kramer.
