Abstract
Description
Article is very sour on Evans and Gorton in particular, claiming that the GOP plan is to have AF in place to be the nation's first Black Governor once Evans wins a senate seat; but notes that Evans hasn't been campaigning with AF since the Nixon appearance, and calls Gorton snobbish, hitting his labor records and saying AF is opening doors for him. Does include an interesting quotation from the Nixon appearance: "'How's my good freidn Art Fletcher doing?' Nixon inquired, 'I used to know him in Oakland.'"
