Abstract
Green finance encompasses the investment process that supplies funds for renewable energy sources that are needed for environmental sustainability. Our research is the first paper to quantify green finance as "investment in renewal energy" and examine the association of this quantification with greenhouse gas. Our major finding is consistent with the notion that green finance reduces greenhouse gas. Our results direct policymakers to increase sustainable energy investments so that environmental catastrophes can be avoided.
